The staff of Auraria Library now administers the Film/Video/DVD collection, including check out of the items from the first floor service desk at the southeast corner of the building as well as booking and distribution of media through the campus TV network. For these services ONLY users should stop by the service desk or contact the Library at 303- 556-3551 or 303- 556-3552.

All media equipment services are the responsibility of the Auraria Media Center under AHEC supervision and have been relocated to the lower east side of the library building. Users of these Media Center services, including equipment reservation and troubleshooting of fixed and portable classroom equipment, should contact the Media Center at 303- 556-3342 for reporting equipment problems and 303- 556-3543 to reserve equipment instead of the film/video/DVD service desk. Users experiencing transmission problems over the campus TV network should also contact the Media Center at 303- 556-3342.

In the long term, the split in video and equipment services and administration will prove cost-effective for the campus community. In the short term, there may be occasions when media users may have to make two phone calls: one to the Library for use of film, videos, or DVDs, and another to the Media Center for use of associated equipment.

The directors of the Library and the Media Center appreciate your patience as the campus adjusts to the transition in services.
