group study room scheduling

Reservations for all conference and study rooms are made through the Administrative Office
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 303-556-2805. At the time the reservation is taken, the student, staff or faculty member wInterlibrary loan be asked for their campus ID number.

Group Study Rooms 205 and 206 may be reserved and used by students, faculty, staff, or other Auraria Campus groups. The study rooms may only be used by groups of 2 or more. Rooms may be reserved by phone until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. At 5:00 p.m. the sign-up sheets will be posted for the following day. People can check the sheets for each room and reserve any open space for that day. Sheets for Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be on the doors Friday afternoon. All reservations are on a first come, first served basis. It is expected that the rooms be used for library or academic purposes (including library faculty service activities, e.g. CLA meetings). For other uses, e.g. social groups, the caller will be referred to AHEC Conference Services (303-556-2755) to arrange meeting rooms in the Student Union.

Effective January 1, 1991 "smoking and the sale of tobacco products are prohibited in all buildings owned or leased by the state under the control of the executive branch..." Executive Order Regarding Smoking in State Buildings.

Rooms 256 and 245 (Jerry Robinson Instruction Lab) are for library use only.

Permanent assignment of rooms is not made to any particular academic group; however, rooms may be reserved for particular times for one month at a time, in advance. The time for using the room is limited to no more than four hours per reservation, and the room must be used during the hours the Library is open.

Exceptions to this policy may be granted by the Dean.
