donor bookplate program

Your gift of a bookplate will benefit all library users, including students from the Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State College of Denver, and the University of Colorado at Downtown Denver and the Health Sciences Center.

The Auraria Library serves the Community College of Denver, the Metropolitan State College of Denver, and the University of Colorado at Downtown Denver and the Health Sciences Center.. With approximately 38,000 students and 1,800 faculty, it is the largest campus population in Colorado. The Library supports the largest number of academic degree programs in the state of Colorado. As the only publicly funded academic library in Denver, the Auraria Library is open to all.

Compared to other libraries this size, our funding ranks among the lowest. To help compensate, the Auraria Library has worked to build alliances and partnerships to maximize resources and access.

Value of the enhanced resources and their access

Books, journals, newspapers, CD's, videos and online resources are the core value of the Auraria Library.

In this digital age, the Auraria Library and Media Center provides remote-site access to an increasing number of online resources.

The quality of our resources impacts upon a large population of users for many years.

Needs

To purchase books, audiovisual and digital collections. To sustain continuing subscriptions to journals and online resources.
