BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Auraria Library and Media Center supports learning and takes pride in the academic success of its students. Many of the 38,000 students on Auraria campus are part-time, single parents, and are in need of financial assistance--more so than on many other university campuses. The scholarship fund will financially assist the recipients in purchasing books and other learning materials.

VALUE

Recognizes outstanding students who succeed academically by effectively using Library and Media Center resources and services. Enhances the visibility of the Library as a valuable, dynamic, and concerned institution.

NEEDS

To sustain and build the financial strength of the scholarship program.

NAMING OPPORTUNITIES

• $25,000 or more to name a scholarship program and to establish a scholarship endowment
• $500 to be named on the "Honor Wall"
