Ban smoking on the steps.

It is disgusting having to walk through a cloud of smoke to enter the library.

Be patient and hold your breath a little while longer, but we ARE in the cue line for exterior no smoking signs. AHEC has had so many requests for these signs that they are a bit overwhelmed with getting them posted. Keep your fingers crossed that they get to us soon. The signs that have been ordered ban smoking within 20 feet of the doors.

Your restrooms should be cleaned more frequently. They are often very dirty.

Thank you for your suggestion about the cleanliness of our restrooms. The restrooms are cleaned on a daily basis, but there are times when they become soiled. As soon as this is brought to our attention, we immediately call AHEC Facilities and the problem is taken care of. We appreciate when our patrons tell us of these concerns.

Because I had a late charge on my library account, I came to pay for it; however there was no way for the people working at the checkout desk to give me change. They could not properly serve me, and because there is no way to change money on a Sunday, I could not pay for my charges.

There should be either a change box behind the checkout desk or a change machine in the building.

I agree that it is very frustrating when you need change and can't get any. I will definitely check into a change machine or some other option for obtaining change when Clicks! is closed. Thank you for your suggestion and I am sorry you have been inconvenienced.
