gifts to the library faq

Where can I donate books?

Contact Chris Reinhart at 303.556.3484 if you would like to donate books. The Library bibliographers will review the material and determine if the material can be added to the Library collection. If the material is not added it is put into the Friends of Auraria Library Book Sale. The proceeds from the book sale are used to purchase new material for the Library.

My local public library has a Friends group; does the Auraria Library have a Friends group?

Yes. We have a very active Friends group. The membership of the Friends of Auraria Library is made up of faculty, students, and staff from the three schools on campus, plus very dedicated community members and alumni. Membership dues range from $5 for students to $35 for an individual. For more information please contact Mary Dodge at 303.556.3526 or maryk.dodge@cudenver.edu. You can also go to our web page…
