printing faq

Do I have to pay for printing?

The cost for printing is 15 cents per page. You must buy a Venda card which initially costs $1.00. Additional value can be added to the card at any time.

Where do I buy a Venda card?

The library has two Venda card machines. One is located next to the Reference Desk; the other is located in the Computer Commons. You need a dollar bill to purchase a card, but you can re-load the card with denominations up to $20.00. The machine does not return change, though. CLICKS! also sells $5.00 Venda cards.

How do I print from a PC?

We have several printers located in the Reference area and the Computer Commons. Copies cost 15¢ per page.

Can I use the card for the copiers?

Sorry, but you cannot use the printer cards for the photocopiers. The copiers are run by CLICKS! and are cash only.

Is there an alternative to printing out my information?

Yes, you can email the article to your email address and then pick it up from home or your school’s computer lab. You can also save your information to a floppy disk, zip disk, or flash drive.
