SEARCH BY SUBJECT OR KEYWORD
- Start on the Auraria Library home page. The Find a Book search also finds videos. Choose Keyword in the pulldown box.
- Type in a word or phrase that describes the subject of the film you need. Examples: civil war; marijuana; or body image.
- Click GO.
- Click Modify Search at the top of the page.
- In the Material Type box choose Video
Tapes (for VHS format) or DVD Videos from the
pull down the menu. At this time, a simultaneous VHS/DVD search cannot be performed so, for a thorough search, do a separate search for both DVD and VHS.
- Click Search.
SEARCH BY KNOWN TITLE
- Start on the Auraria Library home page.
- Use the Find a Book search which has the default choice Title.
- Type in the title of the video. For example: Citizen Kane; In Search of Excellence
- Click GO.
VHS and DVD recordings are easy to spot on the results list because their location is designated as Film & Video:

Films are housed in the Reserves/Audio-Video Media Department. Directions from the front entrance: go left; at the coffee cart go right; the Department service desk will be on your left. Library Map.
Students may watch VHS and DVD recordings in the Reserves/Audio-Video Media Area area on the first floor of the Library. Faculty members may check videos out of the Library. Faculty members may reserve videos for classroom use by calling (303) 352-3847.
