Student Hourly and Workstudy Jobs
Compensation:
The pay offered is usually the minimum listed, however, adjustments are made for the type of work and demonstrated ability and responsibility in specialized situations.
Responsibilities:
The Library seeks student employment applications for either hourly or work study positions. These positions are supervised by various departments, and the duties will vary depending on the department. Students generally will be expected to perform tasks such as shelving library materials, processing library materials or staffing various service counters within the Library. Beginning pay is $7.25 per hour for most positions and the hours available for work depends on the needs of the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be a current student at either the Community College of Denver, (CCD), Metropolitan State College (MSCD) or University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center Downtown Denver Campus (UCD).
Necessary Special Requirements:
Please note that MSCD and CCD work study applicants must have Federal work study awards and not Colorado work study awards in order to use those funds for employment in the Library.
