The August exhibit will display photographs taken last March by Professor Jim Aubrey, when a delegation from Metro State visited the University of Aksum to negotiate a partnership agreement. Besides pictures taken at and around the university and several other cities in northern Ethiopia, the exhibit documents some primitive educational facilities in one remote location where Metro State is trying to raise $25,000 to build an elementary school building. Forms inviting pledges to help will be available at the photo exhibit or at the Office of International Studies. The reception for the photo exhibit will be on Thursday, 19 August, from 4:00-6:00.
