LexisNexis Statistical is a database that contains data in many subject areas. This tutorial will teach you the basics of using it.

One helpful thing to know about statistics--Sometimes researchers can’t get statistics for the year they want because they don’t exist--not because the researcher is doing something wrong. Statistics are very expensive to gather and compile so a particular census or survey may only be done every five years, every ten years, etc. Ask a librarian if you're having trouble finding statistics you can use in your research.
