Interlibrary Loan

If Auraria Library does not own an article you need, no problem! We can get it from another library through Interlibrary Loan. You can also use Interlibrary Loan to get books if they are not available through Auraria Library or Prospector.

This tutorial will show you how to set up an Interlibrary Loan account, then request an item you need.

To set up your Interlibrary Loan account:

  1. Go to the library's home page. Click on Research tools.
  2. Click on Interlibrary Loan.
  3. Click on Interlibrary Loan using ILLiad.
  4. Click First-Time User Registration.
  5. Fill in as much information as you can and click Submit.
You only have to do this the very first time you make a request!
