Got a question? Too far from campus to come to the library? No problem! This tutorial will teach you several ways to ask a librarian your questions.

To contact a librarian by chat:

  1. Go to the library's home page. During weekday business hours, use the chat box on the right side to communicate with Auraria's librarians.
  2. If the chat box does not appear, there will be a link to AskColorado. Librarians across the country staff this chat service, which is available 24/7.

To contact a librarian by e-mail:

  1. Go to the library's home page. Put your mouse over Library Services and click on Ask a Librarian.
  2. Click on the link next to Email Reference Service.
  3. Enter your question and your contact information in the form.
  4. You will receive an answer within 48 business hours.

To contact a librarian by phone:

  1. Go to the library's home page. Put your mouse over Library Services and click on Ask a Librarian.
  2. Click on the Assistance by Telephone link for a list of library phone numbers.
  3. For most questions, you will want to call the reference desk: 303-556-2585.
