Basics of NewsBank: America's Newspapers

NewsBank: America's Newspapers is a database of newspaper articles from across the United States. Papers from large (such as Boston) and medium (such as Fort Collins) cities are included. All articles are full-text. Most papers are available on the day they are published.

1. Go to Auraria Library's home page: http://library.auraria.edu.
2. Put your mouse over Research Tools.
3. Click on Databases.
4. On the "List database by subject" menu, select "News and Newspapers".
5. Click on America's Newspapers.
6. Click on America's Newspapers again.
7. If you want articles from a particular state, check that state. If you want articles from the whole country, don't check anything.
8. Click Search to get a list of articles.
9. Click a title to get the full text.
