America's News is a database of newspaper articles from across the United States. Papers from large (such as New York) and medium (such as Fort Collins) cities are included. All articles are full-text. Most papers are available on the day they are published.

- Click on Databases A-Z, on the left side of the page.
- Click on America's News, in the upper left.
- If you are off campus, you will get a pop-up box asking you to log in. Enter your name and ID number exactly as they appear on your student ID card.
- On the left side of the screen, choose Colorado or United States. If you choose United States, you can select specific states or regions below the U.S. map at right.
- Enter keywords related to your topic.
- Enter publication dates (this is optional).
- You will get a list of articles with your keywords and dates. If you need a certain type of material (such as academic journal articles), click on the link for that type of material.
