ScienceDirect is a great database for obtaining information in the sciences. In this tutorial you will learn how to do basic article searches in ScienceDirect. Steps are listed below the video.
- On the Library’s home page, place your mouse over Research Tools. Click on Databases.
- On the “Search by title” box, type Sciencedirect. Click Go.
- Click on Science Direct.
- Select the Journal tab.
- Enter keywords, select article and publication dates, and click Search.
- Narrow down your results by entering additional keywords.
- Click on the title of an article to see the abstract.
- Click on PDF full-text to get your article.
- Use icons at the top of the article to print or save a copy.
