Instructors wishing to schedule a library session or tour with me should visit the Auraria Library website, click on Library Services, select Instruction, and go to Schedule a Class. Use the pull-down menu of instructors to select Tobey Stein. I can customize content-specific instruction for your classes in the arts and humanities...
... as well as education, leisure studies, social sciences, ESL, developmental studies, and first-year/first generation programs.
The Sunrise Scholar
7 a.m. classes have traditionally received little library instruction due to the library's opening time. Pre-dawn pedagogy is possible! If you would like your early class to have a one-hour library research session, email the daybreak diva of library instruction, Tobey Stein.
The Southern Sage
Metro South Campus students are a special breed. Southern scholars may be part-time students with full-time careers and families. Some students have deferred college or they are returning after a long absence. The last time some of these students set foot in an academic library, journals were made of pape and libraries were made of bricks and mortar. Tobey Stein can provide instruction in a DTC classroom. The AHA! Team can provide a variety of modalities to help students with research projects.
