PyFAST Python Group

Event Summary

Researcher Support Services

PyFAST logo

PyFAST is a student-driven, casual group formed for learning and playing with the Python programming language. The group started last year in the Facility for Advanced Spatial Technology with the idea of sharing Python knowledge while eating pizza. Unfortunately, you'll have to supply your own snacks during these times, but we will still have an informal environment.

Our guest, Ricardo Oliveira from NREL, is going to share some python amazingness at 11am! The meeting starts at 10:30 as drop-in time for setting up environments and learning some basics. This is the 2nd meeting of the group for the 2020-2021 school year. Even if you are past the point of learning basics, drop in to see what Ricardo has to show us, say hi, and get involved on our slack channel! Let us know what you want to explore this semester.
