The Auraria Library would like to highlight an Auraria Campus student project that brings together scholarly and creative work. This inaugural event titled “Glowing in the Darkest Night: A Visual Journal Through Immigrant Experiences” is a student-curated art exhibition of Auraria Campus student work which will be displayed in the library through the end of May. The event itself will feature student speakers describing their work and experience beginning at 5:00 PM.

Auraria Creates: A Celebration of Campus Scholarly and Creative Work is the Auraria Library’s second annual recognition of the amazing work done on the Auraria Campus in 2023. This year the library has expanded the celebration with three events to feature different parts of the Auraria community: The Society Spotlight, Faculty Showcase, and the Student Spotlight.

Published or edited a book in 2023? The library strives to purchase all books written or edited by faculty! Please fill out our Recommend a Purchase form to help us fill in the gaps in our collection and keep you on file for future celebration invitations.
