Auraria Library was originally built in the mid-1970’s to serve 15,000 students on Auraria Campus in downtown Denver. The Library now serves over 45,000 students, faculty and staff from three institutions and is quickly becoming one of the premier libraries in Colorado. Auraria Library’s 6-year, $32.8 million renovation is changing the way people experience information - from more passive and receptive toward more active, engaged and participatory. Auraria Library’s renovation culminated in October 2016 with a Rededication Ceremony. To mark the occasion we created three videos that celebrate the Library’s transformation.
