Leading the Auraria Library's marketing and communication strategies to better tell the story of its amazing students and the dedicated staff who support them, all within the unique tri-institutional Auraria Campus community serving the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver), Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU), and the Community College of Denver (CCD).

Associated Press award-winning journalist turned employee-of-the-year marketer helping higher education institutions cut through the noise and tell their stories. For 10+ years, Alex developed integrated marketing campaigns to drive ROI, taught data-driven strategies, built strong relationships, and mastered storytelling in both the community college and university settings.

Alex hails from NC State University in Raleigh, NC, home of the award-winning James B. Hunt. Jr. Library and its famous "bookBot"— a place he spent much of his free time. As a digital marketing manager in the NC State University Division of Academic and Student Affairs, Alex oversaw the communication strategies of more than 10 departments in their continual effort to support student success.
