Role in the Library

Kodi Saylor is the First-Year Teaching and Learning Librarian. With an emphasis on first-year students, she teaches information literacy sessions, participates in campus outreach, and provides one-on-one research assistance to students, faculty, and staff. 

More About

Kodi is a poet and a librarian interested in how people use information in their everyday lives, especially when creating art. Her work as a teaching librarian centers around supporting students and their information literacy. Before starting at Auraria Library, Kodi worked as the Undergraduate Engagement Librarian at Virginia Tech where she taught information literacy to students in first year writing courses as well as students in upper level English Literature courses. 

Education

Kodi holds a Master's degree in Library Science from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and a Master's of Fine Art in Poetry from New York University.
