Would you like to help build a future with more environmentally friendly homes and communities? Do you enjoy walkable downtown areas? How about natural lighting indoors in winter? If any of these aspects of healthy communities appeal to you, check out the Auraria Library's BuildingGreen database.

BuildingGreen supports students and professionals who want to learn about or build structures and public spaces using sustainable methods and materials. It also focuses on improving public health through pedestrian-, bicycle-, and play-friendly public spaces.

BuildingGreen’s library offers information on green building techniques and materials. It also connects users with networks for professionals who are interested in specific aspects of green building and healthy communities.

Thanks to CCD’s Architectural Technologies faculty for originally bringing BuildingGreen to our attention! It’s now a favorite database of architecture, urban and regional planning, and design students across campus.
