Role in the Library

As a Systems Librarian Ibrahim is responsible for the management, ongoing maintenance, and development of Auraria Library’s integrated library system (ILS), which is currently Sierra, Innovative Interfaces Inc (iii). Also, I serve as the in-house expert on the Library’s ILS and work on projects involving the integration of the ILS with other library technologies. On the other hand will serve a lead role in any ILS migrations, upgrades, or implementations; and will work to enhance interoperability between the ILS and other systems that facilitate the discovery and
access to library resources.
