When Hamlet said “The plays’ the thing,” he was not talking about the delights of enjoying or studying a play. But we are! The Library has videos featuring filmed play productions as well as play scripts and monologues available in print and online. See below for online collections offering full plays as well as a few sample play and monologue book titles to give you an idea of what you might find. Use the Library’s Theatre Guide to find even more.

Looking for live theatre? We’re fortunate that the Auraria campus offers terrific play productions, we’re right next to the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and the area is knee-deep in local theatre options. Enjoy that plaything.
