The Data to Policy Symposium is taking place Friday, April 27th in the CU Denver Student Commons Building from 9am to 3:30 pm. In its inaugural year, the Data to Policy Symposium has partnered with the Research and Creative Activities Symposium (RaCAS) to showcase student-created poster presentations that analyze data to inform evidence-based policy proposals about policing and crime in Denver. The Data to Policy Project (D2P) is an initiative to engage students with their community needs through course-based assignments, which culminate into data-driven policy proposals to local governments and agencies. 2018 D2P participants will explore issues in Denver Policing, including crime, police practices, and future data initiatives. We encourage you to attend and view the projects, as well as the nearly 200 other research projects produced by RaCAS participants.
