Welcome to the new look for Auraria Library Digital Collections!:

The transition to the new repository, but same URL, occurred bright and early on Wednesday morning, September 15. Now when people access this URL, they'll see a new interface for discovering all the marvelous collections we have from our campus community and beyond.

In addition to accepting written works, scanned materials, presentations and photographs by our campus community, the repository will soon be able to receive datasets as well! Another change on the horizon will be a shared search page with CU Anschutz Digital Collections, our sister repository.

The majority of the content already in ALDC has been migrated over to the new platform hosted by Ubiquity. There may be a few records that are still metadata-only as the files are still being shifted. In this case, you will see a message saying as such and an email link to contact the repository manager. Administrators of the repository can respond to these specific requests to deliver the needed files.

Repositories are always a work in progress, but this is a big shift we are truly excited about. We are continuing work to get all of the i's dotted and t's crossed. There may be some hiccups in the near future, but we're on our way to a flexible and powerful repository for our campus.

  • What Help is Available?

  • Visit the Ask Us Desk
    The Ask Us Service Desk is located on the first floor of the Library and provides in-person help by answering questions about the Library, Campus, or three Institutions. This service also loans anatomical items, technology items (such as phone charges and calculators), plus course reserves, or textbooks, for some classes. Please visit the Auraria Library COVID-19 Updates for information about when this service will be available.

  • Research Consultations
    Research consultations are for in-depth and lengthy discussions about research questions. Please use Schedule a Research Consultation Form to request an appointment. We can help you out via Zoom or over the phone. Due to the level of preparation needed, appointments should be made 48 hours in advance. If you need immediate help, please use our 24/7 chat service.
