Did you know that Auraria Library has a collection of children's and young adult literature? The section includes thousands of books on a variety of topics, including fiction and non-fiction. Library users check out the books for classes and research and also for their personal use - to read books to their children or to read favorite books from their own childhood. We purchase between 60 and 100 new children's books a year - mainly award winners or books about or by Colorado authors. New books are first placed on Fun Reads and then transferred to the second floor (LT call number).
